along waist not by straps or shoulders. Remember it’s a long heavy dress and

dress is always preferable rather than hanging. So better don’t take any

Party

As soon as you will take out
your dress after the event use cloth dipped in warm water to remove deodorant
stains. Do it as soon as possible else it can discolor the dress. Keep your
dress out for one day or two before storing.

Keeping it for long in bag may
cause wrinkles to the dress, thus take it out few days before the event. For
restoring glow to it try these methods.

One of the best, simple and
easiest methods is to hang it in the bathroom. Hot steams of the water will
erase the wrinkles. It’s good rather than applying hand steamers to the dress.
In it you have to add little bit of salt to the water. Salt is very mordant,
thus may cause damage to the dress.

Another way to remove wrinkles
is to spray a dress with water mixed with fabric softener. After spraying hang
it somewhere for sometime. Slowly it will slay the wrinkles.

Some dresses just need ironing
like silk and satin etc. Ironing with water is good way to do it.

Dry-cleaning

Dry cleaning a dress is also one
of the methods but not a good one. It shortens the lifespan of dress by making
fabric weak. If you seriously follow the above written methods then you do not
need to dry clean your dress ever. Just think you are going to wear your ball
gown in few special events only then can’t you follow the above methods. Try to
dry clean it as less as possible.
